Early in the summer, Ucargo sponsored Fenton Gardens at the BBC Gardners World Live at the NEC. Fenton Gardens did their first show garden and won a Silver Merit.
Probably one of the first hot weekends of the year, and we were there supporting every step of the way. Also thank you to Josh and his team for creating the immersive water display and for being able to work near cool running water for 4 days!

Of course also great to meet like-minded companies to link up with along the way who require all sorts of logistical help…. Ucargo is never one to overlook an opportunity…

We would like to introduce you to a little something we have been working on. An umbrella for all our companies to sit under so to speak…
Ucargo Global is here to link our Ucargo companies together as one family, but also give them their own entities.
Under this sits Ucargo LLP (or Ucargo UK) – or as we like to say, the OG original company. With its main headquarters based in Kent, and where Ucargo started.
Next up we have Ucargo Americas Inc. with our new(ish) office just outside New York growing at a swift pace we now have an online space for it too.
Then we have Ucargo Asia Ltd, a part of the company that allows us growth and Business in the Far East. Most of the work is done via Ucargo LLP but we wanted to make sure Ucargo Asia had their own space too.
As the companies grow so will their websites and please check back for more information and developments. We will be posting group news here and making sure the whole global group gets their news to share!

Project Freight Forwarder – Full Time
UCARGO LLP is a fast-growing freight forwarding company, a specialist in large scale project forwarding jobs.
We are looking for an ambitious and driven new member to come and join the UCARGO operations team with a particular skill and knowledge in Project Freight Forwarding.
Our projects have been growing year on year, and despite the issues that have arisen in the industry as a direct response to COVID 19 pandemic our projects are continuing to grow; so we are needing to recruit an experienced project freight forwarder to come work with us.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-years’ experience
Can demonstrate skills and a working history within a project forwarding sector, Ideally coming from a background in, for example – military forwarding, industrial, large-scale entertainment, agriculture, and energy.
Can show knowledge and experience with Breakbulk, Cross-trade, and Multi-Modal
Strong problem solver
Can work under pressure
Strong Administrative skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as this role requires daily liaison with clients and suppliers.
You will be working with colleagues on industrial projects on a global scale and so being organised is vital.
You must be able to demonstrate good numeric and analysis skills.
Need to have good computer literacy and be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, etc
A knowledge of CargoWise is a bonus – but not essential. Training will be given.
Location:
The head office is based in Gravesend Kent (20minutes from London) While working remotely is possible during the covid 19 pandemic – we would require someone to be office based once safe to do so.

Transition from Small Company To International Freight Forwarder
A new website was needed to mark UCARGO’s transition from small start up, to becoming an International Freight Forwarding and Logistics Company that is it is now in 2020.
Our lockdown project (apart from keeping cargo round the world moving) has been to revamp our website. A website that uses some of our most exciting projects and a bank of some 10,000 images to show off our experience & knowledge as freight forwarder with specialism in certain industries:
MUSIC / ENTERTAINMENT / AMUSEMENT PARKS / DEFENCE / GLOBAL FREIGHT .
The Personal Approach
Having a personal touch on most of our projects is very important and the reason for our success as a growing business. Paul and Tony are usually on hand to direct rides on and off ships, they will fly at the drop of a hat to meet with clients. Its all about showing our clients they are important.
This new website whilst shows our successes internationally it also shows that a we are still grounded and have a small but extremely experienced team that will go above and beyond to provide a comprehensive freight service for your business.
